Addenbrooke’s Hospital was part of a PFI project combining inpatient care with science and research facilities. Located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, the development provides six theatres and four endoscopy rooms, a satellite imaging facility and 64 beds with expansion to 128 beds.
About the project
Adjacent, the Institute of Metabolic Science provides accommodation for outpatient clinical services for adults and children with diabetes, endocrine problems and certain metabolic disorders. Llewelyn Davies provided full planning, architectural and interior design services.
