Stephen Featherstone has extensive experience in the master planning and design of healthcare and corporate major projects. He has worked in over 35 countries across 4 continents, recently leading the design of a new 70,000sqm hospital development in Jersey, expected to be completed in 2026. He maintains a hands-on approach to projects, ensuring that the planning and design strategies recognise the need for long-term flexibility to underpin sustainable, future-ready solutions.
He has contributed to a number of publications on planning and design and has spoken on the subjects of master planning, flexibility and hospital design in the UK and overseas. For the BBC, “The (master planning and urban design) work, led by Stephen Featherstone proved a critical turning point for the Broadcasting House project,” enabling the £1bn redevelopment strategy for the BCC’s London property portfolio.
