Terminal 3 Dubai International Airport

Dubai International Airport has established its position as the region’s busiest and premier hub, offering facilities which have always ranked amongst the most attractive for international passengers. Our vision for the future of the airport proposed a new passenger terminal to create a new architectural landmark at Dubai, mirroring the evolution of flight through a winged roof canopy. Our concept was developed from Leonardo da Vinci’s earliest concept of human flight. The roof structure simulates the membrane of the wing, constructed in materials which  permit a lightweight and efficient steel structure. The solution, when coupled with the mid-field satellite concourse and tunnel provides capacity for up to 12 mppa.
