Military Medical Hospital Complex (KSA)

Llewelyn Davies have been appointed as Client Advisors for a 3500 bed medical complex including several centres of excellence supported by an Education & Research area, housing and amenities over a 843 ha site. Scheduled to be built in Riyadh over 4 phases from 2011.  LD’s role is to work closely with the General Directorate of Military Works (GDMW) providing professional support on all clinical and master planning issues.

Innovation + added value

• The use of 2 mono rails within the campus for both staff and public/patent movement to reduce the environmental impact of the scheme and reduce Saudi’s reliance on the car as the only means of transport
• Assisted in the development of the schematic masterplan
