Elena joined Llewelyn Davies after graduating from TU Delft in 2019. Since then, she has been working on the $500m+ SNF Healthcare Initiative in Greece, which is scheduled to complete in 2025 with the delivery of three new hospitals, designed to the highest sustainability standards and innovation.
The three hospitals have a common overarching theme of the Asclepeion, meaning the practice of healing through nature, thus combining the highest quality of healthcare provision while immersing patients in nature.
Being exposed to such concepts, Elena discovered her passion for sustainability which led her to gain the accreditation for LEED (US equivalent of BREEAM) in 2022, the most widely used rating system on sustainability for the built environment.
Elena’s experience on high quality, patient-focused design and sustainability will assist the company to seek new solutions in an everchanging world of healthcare design. She lives in East London where she explores new cuisines, art scenes and on weekends the UK’s beautiful national parks.
