No’s 77 & 78 Wimpole Street are located within the Harley Street Conservation Area. No 78 was built c1760 in the late Georgian period and is a Grade 2 listed town house, linked directly to  No. 77, which has been completely rebuilt as a contemporary office building.

Llewelyn Davies was appointed by ‘RBHH Specialist Care’, the dedicated private arm of the internationally renowned Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospital, to provide architectural and interior design services to refurbish the buildings for a private outpatients and diagnostic facility . The new facility features eight consulting rooms and extensive diagnostic services; including MRI, echocardiography, lung function, non-invasive cardiology facilities, X-ray and PET-CT, which is the only one of its type in the South-East and one of two in the whole of the UK.

The quality of the accommodation has been designed to be the equivalent of a 5-star hotel creating an ambiance of comfort, designed to provide the finest patient experience supported by state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities and treatment. Completed in 2016, the project has already been recognised as one of the finest examples of private healthcare design in the Wimpole / Harley Street area.
